I’m from Trinidad and Tobago, in the sunny (okay, sometimes wet) Caribbean. I think that brings a lot of saucy fun to my writing.
In a previous incarnation, I published with BET Arabesque, Dafina, and Harlequin Kimani. Since I went indie, I’ve published five instalove romances: they all belong to my Falling For You series. I’ve republished three books in my Vintage Simona series, which I’ve updated and modernized from my backlist. Try them, you’ll like them!
I’ve also published three women’s fiction novels under my real name … shh, it’s Roslyn Carrington, but don’t tell anyone.

As I was saying ….
For about ten years, the Simona part of me went into hibernation: single mom-hood, working from home, COVID, blah blah blah. Meanwhile, that Roslyn woman became a prolific ghostwriter, delivering more than sixty romances to her clients. Yep! SIXTY! Most of them are zooming along with 4 1/2 stars on Amazon. Not bad.
Then I thought, hey, if Roslyn can write so many romances and have them do well, then why can’t Simona? So Roslyn went to the glass coffin where Simona was soundly sleeping and shook her awake. “Simona!” she yelled. (She’s got a big mouth on her, that woman.) “Time to get up!”
Ugh. The Simona part of me woke up … and I didn’t even need a prince to do it. I was a little doubtful at first; after all, ten years is a long time to be snoozing. But the more I thought about my grand plan (to take over the world with light, funny romances with just a smidgen of spice), the more I was for it.
I brushed my teeth, swopped my sleeping princess gear for old jeans and a t-shirt, plopped my laptop down, surrounded myself with cats, and began typing.
So here I am, busy trying to take on the world. Bringing you romance novels you’ll enjoy from cover to cover. My motto? For Kisses and Giggles. I think that sums it up.
